PROGRESSIO Salary Survey 2013

Just before the summer holiday, we launched our PROGRESSIO Salary Survey 2013 in order to map (employee) salary levels within Procurement & Supply Chain. We addressed more than 3,000 Procurement & Supply Chain Professionals and received over 400 reactions, turning this new born initiative into a success!

The reactions we received came from a very diverse spectrum of Procurement (80%) & Supply Chain (20%) professionals. Their ages ranged from 26 to 60 years old, of which nearly 60% was situated within the 36-48 years age group. Also, their educational background varied greatly; from secondary school degrees to PhDs. Almost 50% of the participants obtained a master’s degree. The most popular educational backgrounds were economics/business or science/technology.

The vast majority of our participants received – upon request – a personal salary benchmark. This year we limited the benchmark parameter to the age of respondents. We are looking forward to even more participants next year in order to create benchmarks based on sectors, regions and education.

Later this year, the complete results and findings of our survey will be communicated to the broader public. We will keep you posted!

Must Read

In 'Thinking, Fast and Slow’, Daniel Kahneman takes us on a groundbreaking tour of the mind and explains the two systems that drive the way we think and make choices. One system is fast, intuitive and emotional. The other is slower, more deliberative and more logical.

Kahneman exposes the extraordinary capabilities - and also the faults and biases – of fast thinking and reveals the pervasive influence of intuitive impressions on our thoughts and behaviour.

Daniel Kahneman, Nobel Prize recipient in Economic Sciences, is one of the world's most important thinkers. His ideas have had a profound impact on many fields, including business, medicine and politics.
