Role purpose
You will be joining the Finance Division, in particular the Supply Chain department. Within this department you will be contributing to the mission and objectives of the teams “Governance, Risk and Control” that is responsible amongst others to:
- Assess impact of new regulations on Procurement as well as outsourcing management processes and existing contract base
- To define and drive the implementation of the actions required to reach compliancy with these regulations, managing changes with the Adkar methodology
- To set-up and monitor operational procedures and controls that are required to evidence this compliancy
Key responsibilities
The Supply Chain department needs to comply with a set of European Banking Authority (EBA) guidelines as well as other Belgian & European Regulations such as DORA, especially those related to the IT and cloud services, to the outsourcing, suppliers Due Diligence and ESG.
Reporting to the head of Supply Chain Governance, Risk and Control team, you will be responsible to:
- Perform analysis, impact assessment, action plan definition and implementation of new Regulations that impacts Supply chain
- Organize and drive coordination between various contributing stakeholders (including Risk Management and Legal departments)
- Maintain clear status on progress made, issues encountered, and to perform regular reporting on these aspects
- Plan and organize deployment of changes, including required communication, documentation and training for people who may be impacted in their operational duties
- Prepare required communication towards management of impacted divisions and towards governance committees (e.g. Outsourcing Committee and Group Risk Management committees)
Profile
- Experienced (minimum 5 years) business analyst in Supply Chain governance, risk and control, preferably in context of financial market institution
- Relevant Financial regulatory knowledge (EBA, Third Parties Due diligence, ESMA…), with experience (min 2 years) in analysis of impacts of such regulations on governance of financial organization
- Experienced (minimum 5 years) project manager, able to drive and control an initiative with multiple experts
- Relevant service contracting (legal and commercial) knowledge. Experience as Supply Chain category manager and/or buyer would be an additional asset
- Change Management knowledge.
- Experience in Adkar methodology is a plus
- Able to work under pressure and to cope with strict deadlines
- Able to successfully prioritize tasks and coordinate several priorities at once
- Strong interpersonal skills, with focus on ability to communicate clearly and convincingly to a senior audience
- Excellent analysis skills (analytical, synthetical and critical mindset)
- Fluent in written and oral English
