Supply Chain Planning Manager – Microtherm (Closed)

Role purpose

  • Member of the Plant leadership team
  • Manage & orchestrate SC activities and processes in a safe SC environment
  • Monitor & drive continuous improvement in SC performance according to the division’s objectives to ensure Etex Industry strategy is fulfilled, in particular : “highest customer centricity in the industry”, “best local landed costs”, “best in class supply chain processes”
  • Contribute to the professional development for the SC team, identifying training and development needs
  • Participate in developing Supply Chain skills beyond SC staff, integrating all SC stakeholders
  • Develop internal (SC) and external partnerships to ensure all relevant stakeholders are aligned

Key responsibilities

  • Systems and Processes Design and Analysis
  • Deploy where applicable the Etex SC harmonized processes, best in class practices, in particular in planning processes including Sales and Operations Planning, Master Scheduling, and Materials Requirements Planning, DDMRP (including Master data set up)
  • Implement logistics concepts and setups that are capable to comply with customer expectations in terms of speed, reliability and cost of delivery services and needed to support performance in the plant (Cycle counting, Shipment processes)
  • Closely collaborate with Sales & Product Management for an active management of the portfolio (from rationalization to setting up SC to delivery: SLAs, capacity, inventory segmentation, Customs requirements) for MNV products to drive Excellence in Customer Experience
  • Performance & Continuous Improvement for Supply Chain
  • Facilitate the plant S&OP and the governance of the S&OP process in line with the division guidelines
  • Lead the development of the SC Continuous Improvement Plan aligned to Divisional business objectives and the Group SC strategy, including safety in SC areas (Warehousing, transport, handling)
  • Oversee key SC programs and projects relevant for the performance and the growth of the factory (new products, new lines, new customers…)
  • Review operational dashboards and monitor efficiency of countermeasures and CI activities. (OTIF, Inventory, Logistics Costs, Freight)
  • Responsible for the Logistics costs and continuous improvements
  • Contributes to high transparency of cost versus service level equilibrium, and manages this balance actively
  • Follows up with special focus on intercompany supply chains including divisional interfaces

Profile

  • Degree level, Engineering or SC specialised education
  • APICS CPIM/CSCP or other relevant Post Graduate qualification (desired)
  • Minimum 3-5years in a similar role
  • Experience in planning and use of planning tools: SAP (APO) or similar
